How We Can Help You Feel Confident with Your Smile

A lot of Americans feel insecure about their teeth. 7 out of 10 of them, in fact. Are you one of them? Don’t worry. We’re here to help. Here’s how:

Veneers

This is a great way to correct a situation involving chipped or crooked teeth. Discolored ones, too. Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain that are bonded to the front of your tooth. They will make your smile look great.

There are a few steps for the veneer process. After an initial examination of all of your teeth, we will discuss if veneers are the best option for you. We can even take digital impressions of your teeth and have wax added to show you a “mock-up” of what your new smile would look like. At your prep appointment, we will remove a small amount of enamel leaving a majority of it intact so we can make room for your new veneers. You will leave in temporaries that look like your final smile. We often see patients for an additional appointment to tweak the size or shape of their veneers once they have had some time to try them out. Once you are happy with what you see we take a digital impression for the lab to begin fabricating the porcelain veneers. When the veneers are bonded in place you are ready to go enjoy your new smile!

Dental Crowns

Are you worried about how a chipped or cracked tooth looks? It can lead to missing teeth if you’re not careful. Dental crowns are a great way to protect the tooth and also give you a great smile. Our crowns are either made of a high-strength ceramic tooth-colored material or high noble gold. When choosing the ceramic material we have a variety of shades to choose from and will match your adjacent teeth.

The crown sequence of appointments is very similar to veneers except that more of your enamel is removed to make room for a crown because a crown will cover the entire tooth typically to the gumline. Crowns are more common on molars and premolars where there is a lot of biting force required on these teeth. The crown provides strength for potentially cracked teeth or teeth with a significant amount of decay.

Dental Implants

Do you have missing teeth? Dental implants are a great option over dentures. The reason for that is that they stay in your mouth and act like regular teeth. No having to take them out and wash them, like you do with dentures. There’s no learning curve for eating and talking, like dentures. They are MUCH longer lived than dentures.

We’ll clean out the area around your missing teeth and insert a titanium screw into your jaw. That screw will fuse with your jawbone and act as a new root. Once the implant has fully integrated into your bone we will begin the process of fabricating the crown which will attach to the implant. You will be able to eat, drink, and talk like you did before.

All of these things can restore your confidence in your smile, whether you have chipped, crooked, or missing teeth. We’re ready to help you there. Contact us today for an appointment!
